Hitze Albero AL14R.HD fireplace - Max. Heat Output

ALBERO inserts generate optimal heat while economically burning wood . This is achieved thanks to innovative solutions, such as a ceramic concrete insert resistant to temperatures up to 1000°C, which concentrates heat, and special deflectors that increase the temperature inside the chamber.

One of the largest and most powerful corner fireplaces in the Albero series , designed for homes with spacious spaces and high comfort requirements. This model with right-hand glass (R) combines technological precision, visual elegance and efficient heat production , making it the ideal choice for those who want maximum power.

GENERAL FEATURES:

• The shell of the insert is made of P265GH grade boiler steel according to EN 10028-2.
• The elements of the cartridge are produced using modern CNC equipment (2D laser, 3D laser, press brakes).
• The insert is welded on a MAG welding robot, guaranteed high quality and aesthetic welds.
• Steel door made of special profile that guarantees rigidity and resistance to high temperature.
• Heat-resistant ceramic glass with an operating temperature of up to 800°C.
• The steel base of the insert is equipped with a damper for the intake of cold outside air, standard.
• The cartridge is equipped with an air curtain that largely guarantees the maintenance of the clean glass effect.
• It is possible to purchase the insert with a black powder-coated handle.
• The specially designed rear part of the body allows secondary air to be supplied to the upper part of the furnace. It makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the appliance by afterburning the flue gases.
• Complies with BlmSchV II, ECODESIGN and 15a B-VG.

KFD ECO 70 L/R VS HITZE ALBERO AL14R.HD - WOOD BURNING STOVE

The Albero AL14R.HD stands out as the stronger option overall. It carries a higher energy class rating (A+ compared to the KFD ECO 70's A), meaning it's certified as more energy-efficient under EU standards. Its thermal efficiency also comes out ahead at 83% versus 79.6% for the KFD, so more of the wood's heat is actually converted into usable warmth rather than lost.

On raw output, the Albero offers a slightly higher nominal power at 14 kW versus 13 kW, and a wider heating load range of 7–18 kW compared to the KFD's 7–16 kW, giving it more flexibility for larger or more demanding spaces. It's also built from P265GH grade boiler steel with CNC-machined components and robotic MAG welding, which points to tighter manufacturing tolerances and consistent weld quality.
