Common Questions about the KFD Ariana 

Question- I see that the unit is made of cast iron (presumably painted with a high heat or ceramic paint).  Are these ever installed with firebrick as well?  How does the metal in the combustion chamber stand up to prolonged use? 

Answer- The firebox is made in cast iron, only the facade frame is in steel. The construction in cast iron is so efficient that does not need any firebricks inside. Only steel fireboxes have firebricks inside (our ranges ECO 70 - ECO iLine - LINEA).

Question- Do I have to use the Bench and wood storage?

Answer- You can get this Ariana and not have the bench, or use the bench for something else. We custom make these fireplaces just for you so if you want the bench separate or removed please just email use Brad@smokeymountainfireplaces.com.
